About the Trek

The Valley of Flowers is a world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rare alpine flora, vibrant meadows, and snow-clad Himalayan backdrop. During monsoon, the entire valley transforms into a natural carpet of 500+ flower species including Brahma Kamal, Himalayan Blue Poppy, and Meadow Geranium.
The region is also home to wildlife like blue sheep, Himalayan black bear, and snow leopards, making it a paradise for nature lovers and trekkers.

Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar → Joshimath

Begin your journey from Haridwar, passing through Rishikesh and all Panch Prayags (Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag & Vishnuprayag). Long scenic drive with beautiful river and mountain views.
Overnight stay in Joshimath.

Day 2: Joshimath → Govindghat → Ghangaria

After breakfast, drive 22 km to Govindghat. From here, start your trek towards Ghangaria passing waterfalls, bridges & the beautiful Bhyundar Valley.
Overnight stay at Ghangaria (10,000 ft).

Day 3: Ghangaria → Valley of Flowers → Ghangaria

The most awaited day! Enter the magical Valley of Flowers.
Explore 6–7 km inside the valley filled with orchids, poppies, geraniums & countless Himalayan flowers.
Return to Ghangaria for night stay.

Day 4: Ghangaria → Hemkund Sahib → Ghangaria

6 km steep ascent to Hemkund Sahib, located beside a serene lake at 4,329 m.
Visit Laxman Temple & enjoy the peaceful spiritual atmosphere.
Descend back to Ghangaria for overnight stay.

Day 5: Ghangaria → Govindghat → Joshimath

Trek down 13 km to Govindghat.
Drive 20 minutes to Joshimath.

Day 6: Joshimath → Haridwar

Return journey through the same scenic route.
Arrive in Haridwar by evening.
Trek ends with unforgettable memories.
